Hello! I’m Alyssa [Kate]
I was born and raised just outside Tampa, Florida and currently live and work from my two in-home studios in Clarksville, Tennessee. Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and in 2019 I decided to turn this passion into a full time career.
As you may have noticed, I have two sides of my art business; abstract painting and jewelry making. As an artist, I thoroughly enjoy the contrast between both mediums. One is wild and free, allowing me to incorporate bold brushstrokes and movement, while the other is tedious and precise, requiring intense focus. Although both mediums require different techniques, my overall inspiration is drawn from the same source; Color.
Color in nature, color in fashion, color in everyday life.
I strongly believe color has the power to influence the way we see the world. It is a powerful force, often evoking emotion and provoking thought. The world continuously surrounds us with this powerful force and oftentimes it can be overlooked or forgotten. I will forever be passionate about sharing the power of color and it’s power to awaken… a smile, a new idea or a deep and meaningful memory.
It is my hope, through my journey as an artist, to bring the power of color to you. Not only through my work on your wall or a tiny statement on your ear, but an overall eagerness notice the color in everyday life.
